We are located in the downtown Belgrade, in the vicinity of the Republic Square and next to the building of the National Theatre in Belgrade. The National Theatre was built in 1869 and it was one of the largest and most luxurious buildings in Serbia of that time. By distribution of masses, horizontal and vertical division of spaces and the chosen motives of the main façade, this theatre reminded of La Scala in Milan, built 90 years earlier. The building have undergone several reconstructions since that time and at present the National Theatre represents a modern union of old and modern in architecture, and technically speaking, is one of the most modern theatres in the world.
